QUITE SIMPLY—FOUR TWENTY SOUTH IS IN PARADISE

We, a family of five, spent six days in Dzumbe house and the only thing we were not happy with was that we booked too few days, because we couldn't get enough.

Each individual at Four Twenty - Kibs, Mercy, Jane, Jane, Joseph and of course John and Hillary, contributed to make our stay magic. Our oldest son went grocery shopping with our chef at the local markets and learnt a lot about the country and its people, and we were served the best meals ever - seafood, local kenyan dishes, as well as breakfasts we longed for every morning, with fruit that tasted like heaven.

It is a true gift to be able to make guests feel so welcome as we did and even though we planned to take trips and try restaurants nearby, we were so impressed and happy with the food and the service that we spent all nights at "home" - and that is really what Four Twenty is, a paradise home away from home.

Thanks for having us and it is a genuine wish from our side to be able to come back some time again.

“420 would be the ideal place to quarantine for 2 weeks, you are perfectly isolated. A real virtue of coming to 420 is that you don't want to go anywhere else!. Drinks can be delivered to the beach front.”

Kefa did lovely food. The houses are simple, charming and have all you need, including good lighting!The lawn that turns into beach without having to look at fences is so special. “Our stay at Hilary's place was amazing! You really can't beat the location - right on the beach with a beautiful view and nice sea breeze! Hilary made our lives easy by organizing our shopping for the house so we had everything we needed when we arrived. The chef Nelson was excellent and you must ask him to make his Swahili fish stew when you visit! Hilary and her team went the extra mile to organize a special evening dining under the palms which will be a fond memory for many years to come. Their friendly dog kept my kids entertained the entire time. Thanks to all!”

"It was an amazing time and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was comfortable. Jane the manager was super helpful and connected us with information on how to get around. The Chef was spectacular and even did a shop for us on basic items."
